This past weekend I attended a class called Guerrilla Lighting taught by Ben Chen of So Cal Pixels. Ben is a Los Angeles Wedding Photographer with over 20 years of experience in Southern California, and over the last 20 years has worked with some large corporate clients such as Procter & Gamble, Fireman's Fund Insurance Company, and The American Red Cross to name a few.
Not only has his been work on his private and corporate clients his work has also been used in national and local publications such as Cosmopolitan Magazine, USA Today, The LA Times, The New York Daily News, Popular Photography Magazine, ESPN Magazine, Sporting News, PC Photo Magazine, Professional Photographer of America Magazine, Range Finder Magazine, The Magazine, The Pasadena Star News, and the San Gabriel Tribute. His work has also been used as cover art for a sports photography book. He was also published in Professional Wedding Photographer's book.
With all that said... I had the opportunity to take his class at Azusa Pacific College that he teaches called Guerrilla Lighting. This is an 8 hour class with some lecture and tons of hands on practice. Here are a few pictures from the class! If you ever want to learn more about photography... Ben Chen from So Cal Pixels is a GREAT teacher!
